Due to an unwieldy supply of email addresses I decided it was time for some rationalisation. Some Google addresses, including what was my main Google Account address, had to go. So I was faced with the challenge of transitioning my entire Google Life (eight years worth).

Why Sony is failing at delivering digital content to the herd
And why their shareholders should be concerned

As I sat in the lounge with friends the other day it dawned on me why Sony is failing to hit its targets delivering digital content. There we were, a room of conservative thirty somethings and the Playstation screen aglow. It was confronting us with a splash designed to entice us into watching a movie. What did Sony use to entice us? The horrific image of Twilight, Final Destination 5, Higher Ground and something called Immortals.

A little bit of name and shame... Korea Telecom (or a customer) tries to hack a mail server. I can't say which mail server it is was but I can't see why it would be of interest to the Koreans. I think they think it's French too which shows their lack of understanding/research. One day in the future this will be seen as Korea Telecom facilitating a crime (it's like someone standing at my office door trying to pick the lock) and they will be forced to hand over the details of the offender. Bring on Internet accountability. At least if the system ever does get hacked I now know where my first stop will be, lawsuit in hand. Not very subtle guys!

Is it more dangerous for a few private individuals to control the Internet, with the power to turn it off whenever it suits their political needs, or the US Congress and SOPA? Honestly, I'm not sure. But maybe it's time to challenge the dominance of the worlds largest websites.
